Farmers need the freedom to operate without excessive pressure and red tape from government, to focus on their essential work of feeding the population.

They claim it's for our benefit, but really it just feels like they're poking their noses into our business, trying to control every aspect of how we run our farms.
Let's face it, these practices have been around for ages - we know what we're doing! Let's hope they ease up on the reins and let us get back to doing what we do best.
These restrictions are designed to ensure that the government collects taxes on all income generated from farming activities. As Australians, we should be aware that we don't vote for governments to impose oppressive rules.
Speaking as a farmer, I have always felt like it's a constant battle between us and the government. Throughout my farming career, I have never seen any level of government actively support, nurture, or improve my farming business - quite the opposite, in fact.
Let's protect our farming methods and urge the government to respect farmers' autonomy.
