Real Wage Increase

Being able to afford a decent life doesn’t mean working more hours. It means higher pay and lower bills.

A real wage increase is crucial for Australians as they face the challenges of a rising cost of living.

With the cost of essentials like housing, utilities, and groceries continuously on the rise, a real wage increase would provide much-needed relief to individuals and families across the country.

By adjusting wages to align with the increasing expenses, Australians would be better equipped to manage their finances and maintain a decent standard of living. Prioritising real wage increase is not just about economic growth but also about ensuring the well-being and stability of every individual in the workforce.

Don't be fooled by the idea that governments are trying to limit wage growth every year because they think it will lead to inflation. In my opinion, inflation is just another way of taxing us indirectly. It may seem like it affects things like interest rates, but the truth is that the Australian people are the ones who suffer.

For years, governments have been undermining our ability to produce and manufacture goods locally. When there's a gap between supply and demand, prices go up. Both sides of politics have been responsible for this over the years, and it's time we take a stand against it.

Before any business groups start to worry, remember that wages are just one of the major costs that businesses face. Energy costs and the overall cost of doing business or the cost of goods being sold are also significant factors to consider. I have a plan for reducing the majority if not all input costs to all businesses in such a way that any slight increase in wages to staff will be offset by what I will do in terms of reducing your costs overall of doing business.

I have spent years, decades, running my own companies and various businesses. I never focused on increasing the return on my goods sold, I found innovative ways of cutting costs that would inject real profits immediately to my bottom line....Business owners know this, I have got your back, but blaming wages alone for not being able to increase them can keep people in poverty, which is simply not fair.

Some may believe that the economy is a living, breathing entity, but let's not forget that the economy should ultimately exist to support its people. What's the use of a thriving economy if the people it serves cannot make ends meet? By balancing supply and demand, the issue of wages will naturally resolve itself.

It's important for our future leaders to take into account all input costs for businesses, not just focus on blaming wages for all the problems. By addressing all factors, we can create a more sustainable and fair economy for everyone. So, let's work together to ensure that businesses can thrive while also supporting the well-being of their employees.
